Net profit of Danone has grown three times
In 2007 net profit of the world’s largest manufacturer of yoghurts Groupe Danone SA has grown three times - up to 4,18 billion euro in comparison with 1,35 billion euros, received year before.
As it is informed in the financial report of the company, published today, for the accounting period Danone’s sales volume has increased on 10 % - up to 12,78 billion euro against 12,07 billion euro in 2006.
In 2007 operational profit of the company has reached 1,7 billion euro and has exceeded a similar parameter on 13 %, market at the rate of 1,6 billion euro.
Danone explains good financial parameters by the profits, received from sale of division on manufacture of cookies for 5,3 billion euro, and also purchase of the Netherlands manufacturer of children’s feed Royal Numico NV.
Groupe Danone SA - is the world’s largest yoghurts manufacturer. Soft drinks manufacture is another company’s basic direction.
