SK Group will invest $8,63 billion into infrastructure
21 January 2008South-Korean company SK Group, the parent company oil refining SK Corp and the operator of cellular communication SK Telecom Co., largest company in South Korea, has declared today, that this year it will invest up to 8,63 billion dollars in expansion of activity of the company.
Thus the most part of means - 7,44 billion dollars - will be directed on capital investments and on modernization of communication networks, and also on the investment into foreign telecommunication actives.
Besides, the part of this sum will go on development of foreign natural resources and increase of production efficiency in power sector. The remained part of total amount of investments - 1,19 billion dollars - will be directed on researches. Last year the total amount of company’s investments made 7,55 billion dollars.
SK Group has also informed, that it expects proceeds from sales at the level of 88,49 billion dollars against 84,17 billion dollars in 2007.
