Chinese officials should refuse off-road cars
25 November 2007Trying to lower a level of impurity of air in the country Chinese government has decided to begin with itself and meanwhile has not forbidden, but persistently recommended officials not to buy off-road cars and other cars with the powerful engines bringing the big harm to the environment.
The government of China considers that state employees should set an example to fellow citizens. Despite of toughening of ecological requirements to motor vehicles, off-road cars remain one of the basic originators of unsuccessful situation in sphere of ecology.
It looks like off-road cars will be soon forbidden at least in territory of the European Union. For some reasons in the future they should disappear from city roads, or to undergo total modeling modernization. There are two main reasons: the first one, is the raised emission of harmful substances in an atmosphere, the second one is a complex situation in a safety of pedestrians, at which collision with similar cars the blow equal to falling of a wall is stroked.
The first attempts to take large and powerful machines under control have been already made in Europe. Refusal in entrance to the European capitals on off-road cars - is a quite known restriction. It is quite logical to expect for other legislative initiatives.
