Demand for Japanese cars continues to grow

In Japan the volume of internal sales of cars continues to decrease. In this connection economists predicted manufacture and export reduction. However, these forecasts could not be realized - sharp growth of demand on made in Japan cars, and large Japanese motor-car manufacturers, such as Toyota and Honda worldwide is observed, already plan construction of new factories.
Toyota Motor Corp’s and Honda Motor Co’s management have been very surprised by growth of a sales volume in the countries of Northern America and the Europe. In order to correspond to this growing need, they had to use on a maximum capacities at already existing factories. However, recently demand has started to increase in developing countries - in particular, in Russia and the states of South America, therefore all Japanese motor-car manufacturers had to reflect on escalating volumes of manufacture seriously. That is why Toyota, Honda, Suzuki Motor Corp, Mazda Motor Corp, Daihatsu Motor Co and Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd are planning to start the construction of these factories in the nearest some years.
Five years ago nobody could even assume, that for 2-3 years in Japan will be constructed 4 new automobile factories. According to JP Morgan’s forecasts, the quantity of the cars made inside of the country, will increase on 50 thousand cars and will make nearby 11,75 million, and to 2010. On these parameters Japan has already surpassed the USA and became the world’s largest cars’ manufacturer.
Toyota is the leading trade mark. So, by estimations of economists, in 2007/2008 financial year the quantity of the sold cars of this mark in the Near East will grow on 30 %. “If the situation remains without changes the quantity of the sold cars (and, made in Japan) will grow up to 9-10 million by the end of this year (in comparison about 7,92 million cars in 2006).
