Boeing and Airbus have received orders for more than $82 billion

Two leading world aviabuilding companies, American Boeing Co. and European Airbus SAS, have received orders for the sum of more than 82 billion dollars on an air show in Dubai.
Now Airbus, which has named this year record on volume of the acted orders, advances Boeing by quantity of the gained transactions.
On the second day of an air show, on November, 12th, 2007, Boeing and Airbus have received advanced orders for more than 27 billion dollars from state company Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), aspiring to enter the global market of avialeasing. Boeing has reached the preliminary agreement with DAE about purchase of 100 planes, including 70 liners Boeing 737. In the context of the transaction for the sum up to 13,7 billion dollars Airbus has entered into the similar agreement on sale DAE of 100 liners, including 70 planes A320 for a total sum of 13,5 billion dollars
Besides, Boeing has received the order for six planes Boeing 787 from leasing company LCAL on 972 million dollars and on two Boeing 787 for 320 million dollars from Royal Jordanian Airlines.
In turn, Airbus has received the order for 22 liners A320 with an option for purchase of eight more planes from Saudi Arabian Airlines in cost of 1,7 billion dollars
Air Arabia, the largest airline-discounter in the Near East, has made the order for planes Airbus for the sum 3,5 billion dollars, including 34 liners A320 and options for purchase of 15 more planes.
мAirbus chief operating officer Customers John Leahy has informed, that the company has received record 1 thousand 122 orders and expects, that by the end of year it will receive 300 orders.
