Credit Suisse’s net profit has grown up to 4,31 billion euro
1 November 2007Within 9 months, 2007, net profit of Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group, 11-th on size of bank of the Europe, has grown on 9 % - up to 7,22 billion Swiss francs (4,31 billion euro) in comparison with 6,65 billion Swiss francs (3,97 billion euro), received for the similar period year earlier.
As it is informed in the financial report of bank, published today, the proceeds of bank for the accounting period have increased on 13 % and have made 31,5 billion Swiss francs (18,81 billion euro) against 27,79 Swiss francs (16,6 billion euro) in January-September 2006.
During the third quarter, 2007, net profit of Credit Suisse has decreased on 31 % - up to 1,3 billion Swiss francs (776 million euro) in comparison with 1,89 billion Swiss francs (1,13 billion euro), received within the similar period year earlier.
The proceeds for accounting quarter have decreased on 15 % and have made 6,84 billion Swiss francs (4,08 billion euro) against 8,08 billion Swiss francs (4,83 billion euro) in July-September 2006.
Credit Suisse connects decrease in quarter net profit with losses of investment division of bank, and also with negative tendencies in crediting sphere.
Credit Suisse is one of the largest European banks giving a wide spectrum of services.
