Only a year has passed since executive director Microsoft Corp. has skeptically assured adjusted investors from Wall Street, that the corporation still shows good rates of growth. But then this statement caused only laughter since for that moment company’s shares were at record-breaking low level - in 24 doll./share.
However, the financial reporting of the company published, on the eve, speaks that the previous application was not such unreasonable. For last month Microsoft’s shares have grown on 10 %, and after the message on growth of profit shares have grown on 23 % and they are still in demand.
Senior analysts from Fort Pitt Capital Group mark, that it is a very good base for growth. In the first quarter of 2007-2008 Microsoft managed to increase net profit for more, than 20 %. And Microsoft financial director believes, that the company managed to challenge to “the law of large numbers” (according to which, large companies can’t grow quickly), showing unprecedented with 1999 rates of growth. We shall remind, that at that time shares of the world largest software manufacturer have reached a record mark in 60 doll./share.
In many respects such good parameters are caused by growth of sales of Windows and Office. Experts consider that users start to establish updating Windows Vista and Office 2007. Here it is necessary to note, that Windows and Office are key items of the company. The received profit can be enclosed in new projects.
