The volume of houses construction in the USA has fallen to 10,2 %
In comparison with the last month in September 2007, the Volume of construction of houses in the USA .has fallen to 10,2 % - up to 1,191 million units. According to the reconsidered data, in August 2007, this parameter has made 1,327 million units, instead of 1,331 million as it was informed earlier. Such data has been represented in the report the Trade Ministry of the country.
Experts predicted that volume of construction of houses for September, 2007, will make 1,300 million units.
In comparison with September 2006, in September 2007, the volume of construction of new houses in the USA has decreased on 30,8 %.
Thus number of the sanctions, which have been given out on construction at home, in September 2007, (in comparison with preceded month) has decreased on 7,3 % - up to 1,226 million units.
Decrease in a parameter is connected with a housing crisis in the USA.
Today it became known, that US Company Residential Capital, GMAC Financial Services’ division, is measured to fire 25 % (3 thousand) employees in addition to 1 thousand employees which reduction is planned on the end of October 2007. Such measures are connected with low demand for housing credits. Residential Capital is GMAC Financial Services’ division and is engaged in housing crediting.
