Siemens is to be divided into three independent divisions

The largest German technological concern Siemens AG will be divided into three independent divisions within the current reorganization of the company. Divisions will be managed by separate chapters, who will be included into executive Siemens council. Such information has been given by the Siemens AG Chief Executive Officer Peter Loescher.
According to the plan of re-structuring of concern, Siemens’ activity will be divided into three independent sectors: public health services, automatics, and also power and infrastructural projects.
However, according to Peter Loescher, the management of concern has not solved yet, how 10 existing divisions Siemens specializing various areas, beginning from telecommunications and finishing the power equipment, will be distributed among three new segments. It is planned, that the final plan of reorganization of concern will be submitted to consideration to supervisory Siemens council on November, 28th, 2007.
Structural reforming of Siemens passes on a background of a proceeding corruption scandal around industrial conglomerate. Siemens’ employees are suspected of participation in creation of secret funds for payoff of trade unions leaders, and also bribery at accommodation of large orders.
