The US Senate has allocated $3 billion for creation of a wall between the USA and Mexico

The Senate of the USA has approved allocation of 3 billion dollars for construction of a wall on the Mexican-American border. 95 senators have for approval and one has voted against the Bill. However, the president of the USA Georges Bush has already declared that he will put a veto for the bill even if it will be approved by the senate and the congress of the country.
According to the offered plan, the USA are measured to construct a wall in length 1 thousand of 125 km on border with Mexico with the purpose to prevent a stream of illegal immigrants of Mexico.
Meanwhile construction of a wall has started in the beginning of this year. Then the first investments have been also allocated. Works have started in South Arizona. The first site of “fence” about 55 km is constructed by means of metal grid on the ferro-concrete columns, established along a boundary line in order to interfere with cars’ movement. This site will manage to the budget in 20 million dollars. Subsequently, when the wall will be strengthened, numerous cameras, detectors and other touch equipment will be established on it.
Let’s add, that besides construction of the wall it has been also decided to hire 1,5 thousand employees of boundary services and to create 6,7 thousand new places in the centers for the maintenance of illegal immigrants.
Mexico disapproves American initiative. So, the President of Mexico has named the plan of the USA as Bush’s pre-election step and has compared this project to the Berlin Wall and has declared that such step will not solve a problem of illegal immigrants into the USA.
