Hungarian Malev is buying 15 SuperJet-100

Hungarian airline Malev plans to get 15 planes Sukhoi SuperJet-100. The general director of Krasnoyarsk-based Siberian airline KrasAir, Boris Abramovich, has informed on it to journalists.
As he said, the contract on purchase of these planes is planned to be signed in first decade of 2008. Boris Abramovich has also noted that they should be assured, that the given plane will be ready for operation in the Europe.
KrasAir’s head has also added that purchase of 95-seater version SSJ-100 is being considered.
It is necessary to specify, that Hungarian air carrier Malev belongs to company Air Bridge Zrt, which supervises Siberian airline KrasAir.
Malev - is a national airline of Hungary, based more than 60 years ago. It carries out regular passenger, cargo and charter transportations. The aircraft depot of the company totals 27 planes; its basis is mostly represented by new generation of Boeing-737.
Airline KrasAir is included into aviation alliance AirUnion. It also includes other smaller airlines. Now there are 37 planes in KrasAir’s aircraft depot: one Boeing 737-300, three planes Boeing 767-200, six planes Il-86, two planes Il-96-300, nineteen planes Tu-154М, three planes Tu-204-100, one plane Tu-214 and two planes Yak-42.
