Fidel Castro has given the interview
23 September 2007Cuban TV has shown new interview of their leader Fidel Castro. It was the first Castro’s interview for last three months. The interview lasted for an hour. Last time Castro communicated with journalists in June, 2007.
On video recording 81-year-old Castro looks more active and healthy though he speaks silently and slowly as in last interview in June, 2007. As the Cuban leader has declared, he is concerned by increase of the prices for oil and falling of a dollar exchange rate in relation to euro.
Experts say that despite of some improvements, it is still too early to talk about Castro’s full recover. However, Fidel Castro is being in constant contacts to members of the government and a management of communist party of Cuba, accepting active participation in a political life of the country.
So, in one of applications from July, 9th, 2007, Castro has condemned the USA for “hypocrisy” and ” full absence of ethics “. The leader of Cuba meant that, declaring democracy and a personal freedom since the Independence Declaration, 1776, the USA prepared some attempts upon it.
Within last two months Castro has returned to political activity, in particular, he has acted with the whole series of sharp applications to address of the USA, in the majority criticizing the United States and Island of Freedom, on the contrary, was presented as center of democracy, high morals, an ideal political and social strategies.
