In the II quarter 2007 gross national product in the EU countries has grown on 0,3 %

On final data, the internal total product of 13 countries entering into a zone of the European Union (EU), in II quarter 2007 has grown on 0,3 % in comparison with I quarter 2007. Thus, the forecast published on August, 14th, 2007, has been completely proved.
In annual report the gross national product of the Eurozone has grown on 2,5 %. Such information has been represented by the European statistical bureau Eurostat. In the I quarter 2007 rates of growth of gross national product in the EU countries have made 0,7 %. Growth of an internal total product for this period has made 3,2 % in comparison with I quarter 2006.
The volume of export in II quarter of current year has grown on 1,1 % in quarter expression and on 6,2 % in annual expression. The rates of import has increased on 0,6 % in comparison with the last quarter and on 5,1 % against a corresponding parameter of the last year.
According to Eurocommission, in III quarter 2007 the economy of 13 Eurozone countries will grow on 0,3-0,8 percent, that on the average makes 0,55 percent. Forecasts for IV quarter 2007 and I quarter 2008 have remained the same: 0,2-0,8 percent and 0,2-0,9 percent accordingly.
