Guardian: best French delicacies

World known company Guardian has published the list of the most unusual French delicacies. The first place has been given to cheese Boulette d’Avesnes - one of the most rare and odorous grades. It can be tried in Parisian cheese boutique Fromagers de France (39 rue de Bretagne).
The second place has been given to café gourmand - strong black coffee, which is being served with the tiny refined cakes: it is possible to try it in cafe of Hippopotamus network.
According to Guardian soupe de poisson is on the third place - it is a fish soup with sharp garlic sauce, which is being served at restaurants La Criee.
The fourth place has been given to tarte tartin - a pie with caramelized apples and whipped cream, which can be tried in Parisian confectioner’s shop Lenotre (44 rue d’Auteuil).
The list of delicacies also includes trou Normand (sorbent with Calvados), le quignon (a huge golden baguet), tartine beurree (a roll with oil), Ñ?houquette (a cake with plums and burnt sugar) and religieuse au chocolat (chocolate eclair).
