Palestinian prisoners have been released In Israel

Today Israel has released 256 Palestinian prisoners from the prisons, not involved in terrorism attacks. They will be transferred to the Palestinian autonomy authorities in the West Bank town of Ramallh.
Release of so large number of prisoners - is a “gesture of good will” of the Israeli authorities, concerning the leader of the Palestinian Autonomy Mahmoud Abbas. Approximately one month ago there has been a political split in the Palestine.  The authority in Gaza Strip was grasped by insurgents of Hamas movement; only western bank of Jordan was under the control of the Palestinian administration. On the eve Mahmoud Abbas has called to carrying out of early election in the autonomy, refusing to wait till 2010.
This initiative has been already supported by Palestinian government. Whereas movement Hamas has promised to break voting. It looks like representatives of this organization are not so assured of success, which accompanied them on elections in 2006. Then they have won and became the part of the government. But now, after revolution in Gaza, ministers from Hamas are deprived the portfolios.
