Taiwan will invest in the Chinese companies

Authorities of Republic of China have allowed Taiwan to carry out investments into the Chinese sea and ground transport companies, and also to become port and road operators.
At the trade and economic forum in Peking the deputy minister of messages of China has declared that this agreement will promote the development and cooperation between the Republic of China and Taiwan in sea transport sector in Taiwan strait.
Despite of the intense political mutual relations between China and Taiwan, cooperation in sphere of trade, investments and tourism has considerably increased for last years. So, the Taiwan companies invested nearby 100 billion dollars into the Chinese economy.
However, still uneasy character of China’ and Taiwan’s bilateral relations in many respects characterizes the dispute which has occurred this week. The government of island territory has refused to support plans of the Peking officials to lead relay race of Olympic fire before games of 2008 through Taiwan. In china a torch is expected to be carried by through all provinces of the country, and in Taiwan with such formulation is not agreed.
Besides this week Chineses have shown discontent with plans of the Central American island state Saint Lucia to establish diplomatic relations with Taiwan. It is necessary to note, that Saint Lucia’s citizens, expecting to gain to itself authority on the world, do it including due to an establishment of diplomatic relations with “dwarfish” countries.
