Nippon Steel’s net profit has grown up to $2,96 billion

Net profit of second-largest in the world of steelmaking company Nippon Steel Corp. has grown on 2,1 %  in 2006-2007 financial year, come to the end on March, 31st 2007.
As it is informed in the financial report of the company, the net profit has increased up to 351,18 billion yens (2,96 billion dollars) in comparison with 343,9 billion yens (2,9 billion dollars), gained in 2006.
The proceeds of the company in 2006-2007 financial year have increased on 10,1 % and have made 4,3 bln. yens (36,22 billion dollars) against 3,91 bln. yens (32,93 billion dollars) of the previous year. The operational profit for the accounting period has made 580,1 billion yens (4,89 billion dollars), that is on 0,7 % more than a similar parameter of 2005-2006, fixed on a level 576,32 billion yens (4,85 billion dollars).
Growth of financial parameters is explained by the demand for Nippon Steel’s production in automobile and ship-building sectors.
